Acuity is your skill rating, on a 0–100 scale. It moves a little after every round — up when you play above your rating, down when you play below it — so it tracks your real level over time instead of any single game. Tougher boards count for more.
A round score blends four things, each measured against what was actually possible on that board:
Coverage (50%) — the share of the board's available points you found.
Speed (20%) — how fast you banked words (words per minute).
Long words (15%) — how much of your finding was 5+ letters.
Precision (15%) — how few high-value words you left behind.
A small * means your Acuity is still provisional — it moves faster and firms up after ten rounds.
Scoring note: WordAcuity scores each word by its length — a 5-letter word is worth 5 points, with a 3-letter minimum. That's simpler than traditional word-grid scoring and rewards longer words more directly.
